This spectacular hōʻike (presentation) weaves together traditional holiday music and hula with the rich cultural history of lei in Hawaiʻi.

Combining Hawaiian traditions with holiday songs we all know, the Nā Lei Aloha show brings fun and joy to your winter season, telling the story through lei, the ultimate expression of aloha. These fragrant floral garlands embody cherished memories, special moments, and deep affection. They honor our island home and the bonds between people. This limited run show promises to create lifetime holiday memories for you and your entire family.

Meet The Producer

Māhealani Mika

As the Creative Director & Producer of “Nā Lei Aloha”, Māhealani Mika has been a hula practitioner since she was just a child growing up on Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, and has been sharing the Hawaiian art of Hula for decades. Training in world-renowned Hula schools under the tutelage of various Hula masters, she has refined her craft for many years. As a competitive dancer, she was honored with winning the prestigious title of Miss Aloha Hula, the highest possible award given to a solo dancer.

Gracing many stages throughout the world with some of Hawaiʻiʻs most legendary Hawaiian music artists, teaching her own Hula students in Tokyo, Japan & dancing professionally in the Waikīkī lūʻau industry has given Māhealani Mika a wealth of experience in curating production shows that tell the stories of our island homeland & people to audience around the world.

Hula Performances

Experience the captivating art of hula as our dancers bring ancient stories to life using traditional Hawaiian instruments. Watch as they skillfully incorporate the ʻulīʻulī (feathered-rattling gourd) into their world-renowned dance form.

Hula Kahiko

Journey back in time through the ancient hula accompanied by powerful chanting and rhythmic drumbeats. This performance transports you to an era when aliʻi (royal chiefs) ruled the islands, adorned in exquisite, hand-crafted regalia made from the finest materials our ʻāina (land) had to offer.

Lei Greeting

Embrace the spirit of aloha as you’re welcomed to Nā Lei Aloha with a traditional Hawaiian lei.

Strolling Musicians

Savor your delectable buffet dinner while talented Hawaiian musicians and hula dancers provide an intimate, table-side performance.

Lei Making

Learn the art of lei making from skilled craftspeople. Create your own floral masterpiece to take home as a cherished memento of your time in Hawaiʻi.

Musical Showcase
